What Happens During a Distance Reiki Session
You’ll rest in a comfortable place like your bed, couch, or wherever feels supportive. You’re welcome to sleep, listen to music, or simply rest. An optional playlist is available if you’d like it.
At the scheduled start time, I work remotely through a structured sequence that corresponds to major energy centers and systems of the body. You may notice sensations, emotional shifts, or nothing at all in the moment. All responses are normal.
After your session, you’ll receive gentle after-care guidance. Within 24 hours, I’ll also send a brief integration email with reflections from the session and any insights that emerged.

Experiences vary. Some people feel deeply relaxed or fall asleep; others notice subtle physical sensations, emotional release, or a quieter internal state. Some feel very little in the moment. All responses are normal, and none are an indication of whether the session is “working.”

No. You don’t need to concentrate, meditate, or try to feel anything. It is best if you can simply rest or sleep during treatment and keep your mind open to receiving the energy.
